Sitting atop the bluff overlooking Snoqualmie Falls and the Snoqualmie River, the Salish Lodge is one of the quintessential wedding destinations of the Pacific Northwest. And it also happens to be just a few minutes away from where I live, so I was pretty excited when this lovely couple reached out about their wedding at Salish Lodge! They both grew up in Kansas and have discovered a love for the mountains and hiking since moving here to the Pacific Northwest, so, naturally we went up to the mountains for their engagement session last summer and did a little hiking, including visiting a different waterfall! So I’m glad we were able to keep with the waterfall theme! 🙂
These two looked amazing and I loved their beautiful first look at a nearby park along the Snoqualmie River. She is actually a talented florist and did all of the florals for their wedding, using autumnal color accents to create truly stunning arrangements. Their reception in the cozy upstairs Cliffside Room was gorgeously decorated! From their first look and photoshoot at the park to their lovely ceremony in the Hidden Terrace and the reception celebration afterwards, it was an absolutely beautiful intimate wedding with family and close friends.
Congratulations H & A! It was such a pleasure working with both of you for your engagement and your wedding! Enjoy a sneak peek at a few of the many highlights and may you have many many years of happiness together as husband and wife!
