Continuing with D & JM’s gorgeous multicultural wedding at the Westin St. Francis in San Francisco, this post features their beautiful ceremony and reception celebration. And yes, this was quite the energetic dance party at the end for sure! I loved the inclusion of the lasso as well as the wooden ducks (a Korean tradition) for their ceremony! The bride’s Mom wore a beautiful traditional Korean Hanbok and after the ceremony, the couple changed into traditional Korean attire as well to make their grand entrance for the reception, which featured a Mariachi band! Their first dance was quite spectacular and the speeches and toasts definitely brought out some great laughter and emotion as well. It was clear to all present that these two are meant for each other! Then, when the dance floor opened to everyone, it was packed with guests waving light sticks and all celebrating together. It was absolutely incredible!
And before the night was over, we snuck out for a few minutes to capture some images of the couple outside the hotel at night with the city lights. We were really hoping a cable car full of people would roll by, but instead, we got an SUV from the San Francisco Fire Department cruising right by us, followed by a patrol car from the SFPD who kindly offered their congratulations to the couple as well, so I think we still fared pretty well on that one! 😉
This post features a few moments from the night shoot and the dance party before resuming chronological order with the ceremony and reception.
