Senior year is such an exciting time! It's that last year before embarking on college or a career and officially entering adulthood. Celebrate this incredible time in your life with a photography session that is tailored just for you!
Play an instrument, sport, or have a pet you'd like to bring along? Let's include them! I'll help find the perfect place for your session, whether its mountains, trees, water, fields, urban settings... or anything else. We'll make it uniquely you! And with a 2-hour session, there is plenty of time for an outfit change or two and plenty of time to let your true personality shine!

Your senior portrait session will include:
Help finding the perfect, gorgeous location where you can relax and be yourself in an authentic and natural way here in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I'll help you find your space!
Help selecting outfits and props. From colors to textures and layers, I'll give you some ideas and suggestions to help make your unique style shine at our location. Play an instrument, sport, or have a favorite animal? Bring it!
A TWO HOUR SESSION! I can't stress enough how much better this is than a 1 hour session! Two hours gives us time to explore some different areas at our location, time for you to relax and be yourself, time for outfit changes, time to avoid having to rush... I could go on and on!
A photographer who is patient, laid back, relaxed, and dedicated to helping you relax in front of the camera as well so that you can be yourself. I know it is not always easy to step in front of the camera, but I'm committed to making it a great experience for YOU!
Your own customized ordering appointment where you and your parents will get to see all of the beautiful, edited images from your session on a big screen. I'll take the time with you to help narrow it down to your absolute favorites!
Beautiful custom artwork for your home. During your ordering appointment, I'll help you narrow down the images to your absolute favorites, help you select the right products and sizes for your home, and make sure everything is properly edited and retouched before sending it to the print lab. I do this to ensure that you have beautiful custom artwork that is ready to display and be enjoyed in your home, in a senior album for you, or in your HS yearbook!

1. Book your Session. You can fill out the contact form here. I recommend booking as far in advance as possible, particularly if it will be the busy season (late summer through fall).
HOW MY SESSIONS WORK
Seriously. It's gonna be epic!
2. You'll get a welcome email with guides to help you start planning for your session, including outfit ideas, location considerations, props, and more great info about how my sessions flow.
3. Your pre-session consultation! About 3-4 weeks before your session, we'll talk about outfits, colors, locations, your goals and preferences, and I can get to know a little about your senior so that we can tailor a really great photography experience for them!
4. We'll have an amazing 2-hour session at an absolutely incredible location! Oh yeah, it's gonna be epic!
5. You'll get to see an awesome slideshow video of the beautiful images I've curated and edited for you and I'll help you go through them and narrow it down to your favorites. What an amazing way to celebrate the HS senior in your life!

FAQS
1. Will you help me choose a location?
YES! I know so many amazing locations in the Puget Sound! I'll help find the perfect spot for you, based on your interests and input! And I'm always happy to explore new locations if you have something in mind!
2. What is the best time of year for senior portraits?
All of the seasons have something beautiful to offer, whether it's the green bloom of spring, the warmth of summer, the beautiful colors of fall, or the moodiness of winter. Most seniors book sessions for the summer before or the fall of their senior year, both of which are typically very busy times, so I recommend booking early before spaces in the fall fill up!
4. What is the best time of day for my senior session?
Sunset!!! And the hour just before sunset (called golden hour). Natural light is just so much better closer to sunset, so I really recommend avoiding doing any kind of portraits anywhere close to midday. This is also the reason that I photograph just one session on a given day - to ensure you get the best light possible for your session! I typically schedule all sessions to start about 2 hour before sunset (depending a little on location) so that we finish at sunset!
5. What if it rains?
I love photographing moody lighting and dramatic skies. And rainy days offer some of the best moody PNW lighting there is! BUT, we don't want to get drenched out there either, so we'll keep an eye on the forecast and if it looks pretty wet, we'll reschedule your session. I want you to have an amazing experience, so I'm happy to be flexible!
6. Can I bring pets to the session?
Absolutely! Pets are certainly welcome and are a great way to add some playful fun to your session!
7. Do you offer digital files? What about the yearbook?
YES! You'll get a file sized for social media of every print you purchase. And, for seniors, if you spend $500 or more on prints, you get to choose some hi-resolution digital files as well, which you can absolutely use for the yearbook!
8. Can I bring an outfit change or two?
Absolutely! Bring as many outfits as you like! I also bring along a collapsible changing tent that is great if we won't be near a car or bathroom. Most seniors typically bring along one additional outfit, but you are welcome to bring more, including accessories like jackets, hats, etc.!
