Congratulations to this wonderfully sweet couple who were married in a beautiful, intimate ceremony at Mount Rainier National Park, just as the fall colors were coming out! What initially began as a long-distance relationship while she was in college and he in the military has now become a wonderful story of two soulmates who were meant to be together. Their love of Mount Rainier, hiking, and getting out into nature was a key part of their intimate wedding and I’m so glad we were able to find a great place for them in the park with enough space to include their loved ones as well. Their ceremony took place among the trees overlooking the Nisqually glacier valley and even though clouds obscured our view of Mount Rainier, we could still see plenty of beautiful peaks and valleys, with meadow brush turning a fiery red color in the fall.
After the ceremony, we hiked a nearby trail up to some viewpoints for photographs of the two newlyweds. And I have to say, seeing them together – they fill each other with such joy! The way they look at each other, you just know! We had an amazing time exploring and even though it was chilly, I don’t think these two noticed at all! They looked amazing! I loved her hair and her dress with delicate long sleeves and a wrap for warmth was absolutely stunning! And I loved his green suit as well! Earth tones are always a great choice for a mountain elopement!
Congratulations you two! I am so happy for you and wish you all the best in your new lives together as husband and wife! Enjoy a peak at a few of the many highlights from your wedding day!
