I had photographed this lovely family a few years ago when their oldest was about 1 year old and now they’ve added another little guy! And wow are these two adorable! I love how close they are and how their youngest likes to be on the go, but also loves to follow his big brother around. And then when big brother puts his arm around his little brother… super cute!

We had a great time exploring the trails through the subalpine meadows and seeing the fall colors on an unusually warm early autumn day. The Mountain was out too! But I think their two boys were most interested in the gravel rocks that covered the gently sloping trails near the parking lots. I remember when my daughter was that age and into collecting rocks at the parking lot. We could end up spending hours searching for those colorful or sparkly ones.😂 I’m glad we got the chance to capture this stage in their lives for them. Soon, their boys will move on to other things, but they’ll always be able to look back on these moments and smile. 😊
