Following their beautiful wedding at Salish Lodge at the top of the falls a few days prior, we hiked out to the bottom of Snoqualmie Falls to capture some images of these two and the falls from a different vantage point. And while it is muddy and slippery getting around down there, it is always beautiful and ever-changing. We also made some stops in the forest along the way, with it’s beautiful ferns and moss-covered trees, making it look very much like a rainforest. With its proximity to the mountains, Snoqualmie does get double the precipitation Seattle gets on average each year. Yep, double! We lucked out with a break in the rain and also some glorious fall colors really starting to kick in mid-October. They both looked amazing with their more casual attire this time. Her rust-orange dress with black corset (which helped tie in her black stockings and shoes) was absolutely perfect with all of the greens and yellows out there and matched her hair so well too! Such an awesome pop of color!
We had a great time exploring the area, finding pockets of great light and incredible backdrops all over the place along the way. These two were super fun to be around and even more relaxed, now that their wedding had already happened and it was just us out there. It was amazing and a great way to end their Snoqualmie Falls wedding adventure before heading back to Portland.
Congratulations again you two! I’m so happy for you and really had an incredible time capturing your wedding and aftershoot at the base of the falls. Enjoy a sneak peek at a few of the highlights from our Snoqualmie Falls adventure. Wishing you all the best as husband and wife!!!
