It was a warm, sunny late summer day in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle when these two got married at the lovely Olympic Rooftop Pavilion and Hotel Ballard. I had photographed them almost a year earlier for their engagement at Magnusen Park in Seattle under hazy, smokey skies. This time, the skies were much clearer and we had a gorgeous day, visiting the Ballard Locks for some photographs there before having their ceremony and reception at the Olympic Rooftop Pavilion. With its glass ceiling and open sides, the Rooftop Pavilion is a beautiful place for a wedding and reception, with rooms for the couple to get ready located on the rooftop as well!

From the getting ready all the way until the dancing late into the night, the day was full of beautiful moments and celebration! And these two are just so happy together! It really was a joy to photograph them together. And just wait until you see the emotion and tears of joy when the groom’s godchildren say some wonderful things about his new bride! It was truly a spectacular day, but I’ll let the images take it from here! 😉 But I can’t leave without saying how incredible these two looked! The bride looked radiant and the detail on her dress… absolutely gorgeous! And he looked handsome in his blue suit as well! I’m loving this trend of more blue (other colors besides black) for men’s suits!
