This amazing senior wanted his senior portraits in a Pacific Northwest forest, with plenty of trees and water too. So we opted to meet up at a location that would have both, a location that I actually drive by all the time, but hadn’t really explored yet. It was absolutely awesome! It never ceases to amaze me how much natural beauty the Pacific Northwest has. And while Olympic National Park gets most of the “Northern Rainforest” accolades, the western slopes of the Cascades are incredibly similar and arguably just as beautiful, full of mossy trees, ferns, and mountains looming above. This location is proof of that! The forest, with its ferns, mossy evergreen tree trunks, and old fallen logs and tree stumps was perfect!

We lucked out with a nice, calm weather day out there and had an amazing time exploring and even visiting the nearby waterfall. It was awesome! This senior plays guitar and is into Indy rock, which is pretty cool! Some of the bands he listens to were things my friends and I listened to back in high school and college!
