We were just coming out of a stretch of some really hot mid-August days. And fittingly, for this outstanding senior who plays high school baseball, Major League baseball season was in full swing and the Seattle Mariners had recently acquired Josh Naylor and Eugenio Suarez. It was an exciting time and I remember him mentioning he thought the Mariners could go all the way this year. And while they didn’t quite accomplish that, they did come excruciatingly close.

With Lake Washington right there and plenty of space to explore, we had a blast and even captured a few images of him holding a bat on one of the ballfields at Magnuson Park. His mom, sister, and one of their dogs joined in for a few images as well.

Congratulations to this amazing senior and the class of 2026! And I hope he has an awesome senior year and senior season of baseball too!
