This lovely couple came all the way from Texas to celebrate their love in beautiful Mount Rainier National Park. They are both outdoor enthusiasts and met rock climbing, so a little hike up to some beautiful meadows and lookout spots was the perfect way to spend the day along with their super super nice service dog Deacon! Yeah, he got to come along with us on the hike, which I could tell he really enjoyed too! I should mention that she made her own dress too – an absolutely stunning gown with a long train, complete with beautiful florals running down the back and in the front. And I loved his sand color linen-textured suit as well and together they looked amazing out there!
Technically, they were already married so we didn’t do a vow ceremony and instead made this day an opportunity for them to document their love for each other wearing their gorgeous wedding attire, surrounded by the beauty of Mount Rainier National Park! And it was sooo much fun!!! We started things off at their A-frame cabin that they rented in Ashford which looked spectacular surrounded by forest. Then we headed into the park and did a short hike for some view of The Mountain and gorgeous meadows filled with Pasqueflowers that look like little truffula trees. These are literally all over the meadows in Mount Rainier National Park and they actually begin their life cycle with petals shortly after the snow melts, but soon lose them in the latter part of summer when they grow hair like projections and become a taller seed head (a bit like Dandelions). We explored the area and had a great time finding so many scenic areas, punctuated by jaw-dropping views of Mount Rainier. It was awesome!
Thank you both (and Deacon!) for the amazing adventure! What an incredible day! And there were so many amazing images – you two make such a lovely couple! Congratulations you two and enjoy a sneak peek at a few of the many highlights!
