Nestled in the eastern foothills of the Cascade mountains where rain shadow desert and mountain forest meet, lies Tsillan Cellars, a lakefront winery oasis, punctuated by row upon row of vineyards that stretch up the rolling hills towards the surrounding mountains. Chelan, WA is a beautiful place – a wedding photographer’s paradise for sure. And while the wind blew, the temperature plummeted, and the skies threatened to unleash sudden torrents of rain, it never did put a damper on this lovely couple’s beautiful wedding.

It was a wedding full of joyful emotion. Beginning with tears of joy as John and Allie recounted during their vows how grateful they are to have found each other, and continuing as his kids, shedding tears of their own, welcomed their new mom as part of the family. It was a beautiful moment with hardly a dry eye during the ceremony. And her dress… absolutely gorgeous! Combined with with gusts of wind blowing it around, it looked absolutely incredible against the green, spring backdrops surrounding Lake Chelan! I loved the bowties and suspenders that John and the boys had – a great, classic touch!
