We were blessed with absolutely gorgeous skies for Sara and Dib’s wedding at The Golf Club at Newcastle. Dramatic, ominous-looking clouds interspersed with small pockets of sun filtering through made for some breathtaking views from the top of the hill where the clubhouse is situated. You can see Lake Washington and part of downtown Seattle across the lake to the northwest and to the north, you can see a bit of downtown Bellevue from certain vantage points. It’s pretty spectacular and a beautiful location for a wedding! These two had already gotten married, but wanted to have a celebration with family and friends and a photoshoot out on the golf course as well. And what an incredible evening it was! Sara’s dress was beyond beautiful and weighed somewhere around 40-50 pounds or so (I kid you not)! It was about as heavy as I would expect a large dress maid out of chainmail might be, but with her whole ensemble, it looked absolutely stunning! They both looked amazing! Fortunately, we did not get any rain out there and it was not too cold, so we were able to get some beautiful, dramatic images along the grassy hills. Then we all headed inside for their reception which featured several amazing performances, including some incredibly twirling by the bride before the dance floor opened up for everyone and they celebrated into the night.
Congratulations you two! I had an amazing time with you and your family and friends and wish you all the best as husband and wife! Enjoy a sneak peek at a few of the many highlights from your wedding celebration day at the beautiful Golf Club at Newcastle!
I love her henna! And including the Seahawks and their initials was certainly a nice touch!
