Living in Snoqualmie is awesome! It’s literally just 30 minutes from Snoqualmie Summit to the east (or 30 minutes from Seattle if you head west). We’re surrounded by the Cascade Mountains here and I even have a great view of Mount Si from my office window! It’s perfect – away from the hustle and bustle, yet close enough to just about anything. Looking to have a family session in the mountains? Then I’m your photographer!!! I LOVE the mountains here in the Pacific Northwest! Truly, there is no place I’d rather be, and no place I’d rather photograph! These mountains are beautiful beyond words, massive, foreboding, awe-inspiring, and surrounded by an endless carpet of pine trees like no other place on Earth. I often get teary-eyed just going up there, it’s so awesomely beautiful! And I’ll capture your amazing family in the awesome beauty of these mountains in the way that only I can.
And so, when one of my all-time favorite long-standing clients (a family that I’ve been photographing for many years – since their kids were super tiny!) decided to make the trek from the Bay Area to Seattle for a family session here in the mountains, I have to say I was pretty much beyond excited!!! 🙂
We met up at Snoqualmie Pass on a crisp early fall afternoon (it actually started snowing later that evening!) and had an amazing time exploring the petrified tree stumps around Keechelus Lake and some other areas nearby. I loved capturing this adorable brother and sister pair! Even though they are growing up so fast, they are still incredibly sweet and cute together! I can imagine these two being close throughout their lives and they’ll always have these images to remind them how wonderfully close they are right now, hand-warmers and all! 😉
Thank you all so much for the absolutely amazing session! It was so great to see you again and have a little adventure up in the Cascade Mountains with you! And of course, there are so many beautiful images! You guys rocked it, despite the cold and rain! Enjoy a sneak peek at a few of the highlights!
OK, last image! This set of faces was super fun!!! It was raining and also the end of our session, but he braved another minute or two for these… definitely worth it!!! 🙂
