It was a warm Saturday afternoon at Snoqualmie Pass when Eleanor and Sohrab eloped in front of a small gathering of just their immediate families. The sun was too bright near the water, so we decided to head a little further along the trail to a lovely spot with more shade. Eleanor’s sister officiated their lovely, intimate ceremony in the quite solitude of the mountains, with the only other sounds from birds and a gentle breeze blowing through the trees.
Afterwards, we headed out on a photoshoot at some more spots near Snoqualmie Pass before heading back to our starting point closer to sunset. It was an incredible afternoon! I loved getting the chance to meet and spend the afternoon and evening with this lovely couple who met each other at the University of Washington, but now live and work in New York. They road-tripped it all the way across the country from NY to Seattle, with their dog Tycho riding along as well! That sounds like such a fun adventure! I’m so glad we were able to head up into the mountains for some beautiful scenery to capture this amazing time in their lives! And everyone braved the mosquito swarms quite well! 🙂
Congratulations to both of you! I wish you many many years of happiness together as husband and wife! Enjoy a sneak peek at a few of the many highlights from your Cascade Mountain elopement!
