We decided to head up to Gold Creek Pond at Snoqualmie Pass for this beautiful Mother & Daughter session. With the calm winds most of the evening, we had incredible reflections of the nearby mountains on the pond. I love this area – truly a magical place and the perfect location for an adventurous Mom and daughter pair! I always love getting the chance to photograph families so close to my own home. These two are from Snoqualmie as well and our daughters both even go to the same school! I love the energy they both brought and whether it was wading ankle-deep in the icy pond (yes, this thing is frozen solid in winter and takes a long time to warm up) or tiptoeing delicately through the wildflowers, these two were up for it! I enjoyed capturing the playful side these two share and I especially loved capturing the sweet Mother and daughter connection that they have. It is clear that they are very close and truly enjoy spending time together. What a lovely Mother and daughter pair they make!
