I had the opportunity to photograph this very lovely extended family at their beautiful Hayden Lake, ID vacation home. It is a place full of wonderfully fond memories for all of their children and grandchildren, boating, swimming, tubing, kayaking, and hanging out away from it all. Soon, the house will be sold, but they will always have those amazing memories of their summers at the lake and I’m glad we had the opportunity to capture some beautiful family photographs for them as well during their last summer there. And this session was all the more special because one of the families happens to be my sister’s family!

So, this one was a throwback to an image I captured many years ago when their little guy actually was, well, very little! I think he was around a year and a half old! I can’t believe they were able to pull this one off one more time, now that he’s practically as tall as his dad!
