There’s something magical about that first snow of the season. Beautiful snow-covered mountains created a wintery scene just above us, juxtaposed against late September fall colors. I really love winter, especially in the mountains here in the Pacific Northwest! It is so incredibly beautiful! There’s nothing like those crisp, chilly mornings with a warm cup of coffee or hot cocoa in hand… 🙂
I met up with this lovely family of three at Gold Creek Pond at Snoqualmie Pass. I’ve been heading up to the Pass quite a bit lately, it seems, but at only 30 minutes away, it is hard to beat the gorgeous mountain scenery and convenience. Plus, it gives me an excuse to stop by the Summit Pancake House afterwards for their French toast. It is to die for!!! Seriously, if you haven’t tried it, you must!!! It was a chilly late September afternoon, but they were all dressed in some warm layers and we had a great time exploring the area, hiking, and occasionally running around to keep warm! I loved capturing them having fun together and their sweet connections with their little girl. She was laughing and having fun in no time! And I absolutely LOVED her Dr. Martens! So cool! We wandered around the pond and found all sorts of cool places to explore among the beautiful evergreen trees and fall colors. What a fun family session!!!
Thank you all so much for the wonderful session! It was seriously amazing!!! Enjoy the sneak peek at just a few of the many highlights!
