I’m so happy for this lovely couple that got to have their wedding despite the COVID-19 pandemic! After having to cancel their out-of-state wedding, Chelsea and David had reached out to me only a few weeks before their planned elopement. I’m glad that I was available for them that day! And what an awesome day it was! I took a few photographs of them as they got ready in their room at the Salish Lodge and then we ventured out to the hidden terrace for their ceremony. There, after having been together 10 years, with the sound of the nearby Snoqualmie Falls in the background and with just their officiant and myself as witnesses, Chelsea and David exchanged rings and became husband and wife! It was a lovely, intimate elopement. Chelsea looked amazing in her wedding dress and David looked quite dapper in his dark blue suit and tie!

With temperatures inching into the upper 80s that day and large crowds at the Falls, we took a short drive to a nearby park farther up the river where there were beautiful trees, mountain views, plenty of shade, and open space as well. We pretty much had it all to ourselves! Chelsea had changed into her second beautiful dress of the day, this one more of a boho style that worked very well in our natural setting. We went out on the rocks along the middle fork of the beautiful Snoqualmie River, spent some time among the trees, and then finished their photoshoot out in the field! It was incredible and I cant’ wait to photograph their post-wedding shoot! I am told that Chelsea has a third wedding dress that she will also bring for that one!
