I’m excited to post the first sneak peek at Erica & Corey’s beautiful wedding at Woodland Meadow Farms in Snohomish. After having to reschedule their wedding twice, I’m so glad they were able to finally have their wedding and celebrate with close family and friends! It would have been a clear, sunny day – one of those glorious late summer Pacific Northwest days of legend, but for the “giant supermassive plume” of wildfire smoke (as the Times called it) that had rolled in just the day before. I have to admit, the prospect of being out in the smoke all day had me a bit nervous, but armed with my N-95 mask that a friend gave me (thank you C.B.!), the smoke didn’t bother me at all out there and actually made for some nice lighting, reminiscent of a foggy day, albeit with a slightly warmer tint. And literally, from the moment I arrived at Woodland Meadow Farms, I could feel the excitement! The wedding party was there and everyone was so warm and welcoming!

And let me just say that Erica and Corey are among the nicest couples I’ve had the pleasure of working with! Erica is actually a very talented hair stylist herself, having done hair for countless brides and special occasions, so photographing her getting ready was a special treat and I loved that her sister did her makeup! They both looked absolutely amazing and glowing the whole day! Plus, there were some beautiful moments when the gifts and notes they wrote for each other were delivered. And just wait until the reception!!! I’ve got so much more to show from this beautiful wedding. Congratulations Erica and Corey! Enjoy your first sneak peek and more coming soon!
