These two met in Seattle, so it is only fitting that we have their engagement session in the city that has special meaning to both of them. And there’s hardly a more iconic Seattle mountain than Mount Rainier, so on a warm late summer afternoon, we did both! We visited Seattle’s newly completed Waterfront Park, bobbing up and down on a large floating pier, and of course Post Alley and Pike Place as well, having a great time on a lively Friday afternoon there. Then it was off to Mount Rainier National Park, where they changed to some dressier outfits. They looked absolutely amazing! With that golden hour light illuminating them and the mountain, it was incredible! They make such a sweet couple! We had an awesome time exploring the warm evening in the beautiful sub-alpine forest above 5000 feet! We wandered along the trails that meandered through the meadows, with the lush plants yellowing with their transition into fall, but still containing some flowers, including my favorites – the Western Pasqueflower, which loses its petals early in summer, while the seed head continues to grow, causing them to look like miniature truffula trees in late summer! All of the seasons at Mount Rainier are absolutely beautiful!
