I left the monsoons we had here in the Seattle area this past weekend to venture to the San Francisco Bay Area and met up with Gauri & Jon on a sunny Friday afternoon at Fort Funston, San Francisco. Let me preface this by saying that these two looked absolutely amazing! I loved their outfits and for her second dress, Gauri wore a gorgeous white dress that had all the dramatic presence of a wedding gown, especially as it blew in the wind! Oh yes, it was crazy windy. And anyone who has ever visited the California Coast and marveled at how the coastal cypress trees seem to grow sideways along the bluffs knows that only some serious wind could cause trees to do stuff like that. Suffice to say, these two braved the wind fantastically as we hiked through the bluffs and they were up for anything. After having the chance to spend a few hours with this sweet couple, I’m extremely excited to photograph their wedding! It was also great to see Gauri’s friend, Nishi there as well to help with hair, makeup, and have a warm jacket ready for Gauri to put on in-between shots! We photographed her wedding just a few years ago and always enjoy seeing familiar faces! 🙂
