Congratulations to this amazing high school senior who just happens to be the daughter of one of my cousins! I had photographed her two older brothers when they were seniors a few years back and now this year it was their youngest child’s turn! It’s amazing how fast they grow up! Seriously! I remember not long ago when she was running around collecting Easter eggs (my own daughter included)! Now she’s in her last year of high school, getting into volleyball season and all the exciting things that happen senior year before heading off to start the next chapter in life at OSU next fall. It’s an exciting time for sure!

Every high school senior portrait session I do is totally unique. And part of that is finding the perfect location for each and every senior so that they can have a truly unique experience. I don’t do back-to-back sessions (or mini sessions) and there is no limited list of possible locations, so we can have it wherever your senior wants, whether that’s up in the mountains, at a lake, in a field, in an urban setting, or wherever. And I’ll help you find that perfect location! For this session, she wanted to have her portraits in a field with Mount Rainier in the background, so that is exactly what we did! I’d never been to this place before, but after some searching, found it online and knew it would be perfect for her session and it certainly didn’t disappoint! We had a gorgeous view of Mount Rainier and had an incredible time running around in the fields and capturing beautiful images on a warm summer evening. She looked amazing and all of her outfits worked quite well, but I have to say her last outfit (a floral print dress) was perfect with the golden brown grass (and sun-drenched mountain background)!
