I’ve been photographing this wonderful family since their oldest was just a newborn! It’s really crazy how time flies because they’ll both be teenagers soon! They made a family trip of it, visiting WA and so we decided to have their session at Mount Rainier this time (although now it is going to be hard to top this next year)! It was an incredible evening, with absolutely amazing views and plenty of colorful wildflowers as well throughout the meadows! The wildflowers were so beautiful that it was totally worth it even with all of the mosquitos that were also in full bloom, so to speak!😉
Their outfits were amazing and popped so well against all of the darker greens that we had in our backgrounds. I loved their colors too! I can’t stress enough how important it is to choose the right colors to highlight your family and and also fit the setting we’re in. That’s why we always have a pre-session consultation a few weeks before your session to go over outfit choices (and much more) to ensure that you have a truly awesome session!
We explored the area and had a great time seeing the different colored wildflowers that were in bloom. Some fields were full of yellows, lavender, and white flowers, while others had reds, blues, whites, and more. Mount Rainier is truly a special place and everyone did a great job of staying on the trails and protecting the fragile meadows. And their two kids were so great together! I captured quite a few super cute moments with those two, that’s for sure! And their daughter’s long, flowing blue dress was looked spectacularly dramatic in the meadows!
Thank you all for another absolutely wonderful session! It was so great to see you again and continue photographing your family all of these years! Enjoy a peek at a few of the many highlights!
