I had an absolutely incredible time with this lovely family of five for their family photography session in the Bay Area. I had photographed their family every year for a number of years, but with my move back to the PNW and then the pandemic, we missed out on a few years. It was really great to see everyone again and I still can’t get over how much taller the kids are! It seems like almost yesterday when they were all still small! But I’m glad to see that they can still laugh when I get out my puppets! 😉

We visited a new location in the coastal mountains that I had been eyeing, with views of the Bay Area and the Pacific Ocean (when there is no fog at least!). It was crazy hot that whole weekend, with temperatures soaring above 100, but we trekked a little ways up the hill for the views and got to see the sun set over the distant hills. I always love exploring new locations that I’ve never been and make a little adventure of it.
