I met up with Danielle and Connor east of Snoqualmie Pass at a mountain lake near Cle Elum. Heavy snow was falling already on the pass and that precipitation was making its way eastward, but we didn’t let a little snow and rain get in the way of an amazing session! It started out with light sleet/chunky rain combination and by the time we were halfway through, it was snowing super hard! Heavy snow can be a challenge to photograph because the flakes in the air between my camera and the couple start to cover up parts of faces. But I do love the snow – winter is by far my favorite season! And that’s all part of the fun in capturing a snowy engagement session!
Growing up in North Bend and learning to ski at a young age at nearby Alpental, Connor has always had a love for the mountains and snow. Being from Hawaii, Danielle is used to a warmer climate, but has come to love the Pacific Northwest and snow as well! She runs a local desert bakery, Decorative Desserts by Danielle. Wow those macaroons look sooo goood! And guess who will be doing their wedding cake??!!
Congratulations Danielle and Connor! You both looked incredible and I had an amazing time with both of you! Thanks for braving the elements with me. Enjoy a few of the many highlights from your winter engagement session!
