I’m so excited to share a few images from the beautiful intimate wedding vow ceremony that this lovely couple celebrated with family and close friends. Nestled in a forested river valley in the Cascades, this A-frame cabin made for a beautiful backdrop for these two and their guests to share this special day with.

And fittingly, there was even a short neighborhood walk to the cabin for the ceremony. You see, they both met just as COVID was shutting everything down, so many of their first dates were long walks through the neighborhood. And even though they both lived in the same apartment complex in Tacoma and had met briefly in passing, they didn’t officially meet until swiping each other on a dating app. Then it was all rooftop dates, long walks, and eventually their love for exploring the Pacific Northwest took them on numerous hikes in the mountains. And while they are currently living in WV, they plan to someday return to the PNW and go on many more adventures together.

S had always felt safe hiking in the mountains with her father, but after his passing almost 10 years ago, she hadn’t felt that kind of safety until she met J. He “is the kindest most selfless person I have met, and he is supportive with everything. I love what they wrote about each other: He allows me to be myself, we laugh at the silliest things enjoy the simplest things like having coffee or dinner on the patio. Being with him is so easy. I also love that he cares for my family as much as I do. Family is very important to me.” – S

She “truly allows me to be myself. She has a kind heart and is very thoughtful. I throughly enjoy every moment with her and there is never a dull moment. Everything from coffee in a cafe to watching football. She is a Seahawks fan and despite that fact; she bought and wore a Jaguars hat and shirt to support my team when we traveled to Jacksonville to watch a game in person. I love that our relationship grew, and continues to grow naturally.”  – J

She wore a beautiful dress and shawl, along with a gorgeous bouquet with colors that matched and they looked absolutely incredible at the cabin and among the trees and green of the surrounding forest. And I loved how J helped her down a steep slope in her dress and then they danced and explored a beautiful little meadow and grove of ferns near the river. It was perfect.
