Hailey and Jacob brought some amazing style to their adventure elopement in the beautiful Cascade Mountains! Her boho style was absolutely perfect for our mountain setting! I loved her fur jacket, flower-crowned hat, and matching dried floral bouquet. Staying warm out there (or at least warm enough!) is important and it can be a challenge to find a jacket that works with a wedding gown. Seriously, they both looked absolutely amazing! And her dress!!!! I loved the volume and flowey, boho style! It had a beautiful floral print layer underneath the outermost layer that added just enough color to make her dress stand out against the snow!

I met up with the lovely couple at their airbnb cabin in Easton, just a little ways past Snoqualmie Pass. They had flown in from Tennessee for their Pacific Northwest elopement and wanted to have a beautiful mountain setting, so starting at the log cabin was perfect! We captured a few images of them getting ready and then went outside for a gorgeous first look as the sun poked through the evergreen trees. Funny side-story: One of my nieces has the same first and last name as the bride, and her boyfriend happens to be named Jacob as well! I remember when Hailey first contacted me, I thought for a moment that it was my niece and her boyfriend! Haha! What a funny coincidence!

Suffice to say, these two make an absolutely sweet couple. They were super nice and really so much fun to work with throughout – even in the cold snow! And cold it certainly was! After their first look, we took a windy road to the lake that eventually became unplowed. Rather than walk the last few miles to our location, we forged ahead through the snow and ice-covered road. If a lot of the snow hadn’t melted the previous week, we might have had to either go it on foot or choose a different location, so I’m really glad that it worked out… because… those views!!!! Seriously!!! Unbelievable!!!

Finding joy amidst a pandemic and being able to celebrate your elopement in such a beautiful place with two close friends… Really awesome!
