San Francisco Indian Wedding Photographer: Making of the Bride & Groom Ceremonies (day 2)

I absolutely love photographing all of the bright colors and details of Indian Wedding events! Each event was full of wonderful people too! This is a sneak peek at day 2 – the Making of the Bride & Groom ceremonies, each performed separately at the bride’s and groom’s houses. Tradition keeps these events separate, so this will be the first time that the bride and her family will see the groom’s ceremony and vice versa! Be sure to also have a look at the Sangeet and Mehndi celebration here.

First, we start at the home of the groom…

The groom and his parents make their entrace for the start of the ceremonyThe audience watches!

On to the bride’s home for her ceremony. Tina’s Mehndi looks very dark – a good sign for the wedding the following day!I love this one of the two sisters together!Capturing kids in traditional attire is a must!
