I love family portraits in the park!  It must be the beautiful scenery and fall colors, the gorgeous natural light, the beautiful grandchildren I get to chase around with my camera, their wonderful grandparents (who clearly love their grandchildren very much)… Yep, it must be all of the above! Such a fun session, this one! We started at the grandparents home in Livermore and then went to a local park to let the boys run around. And run around they certainly did! These little guys are fast! I certainly got my workout in and it was totally worth it!

This first one is one of my favorites – I love their natural expressions… and the lighting… breathtaking! This is the kind of portrait I want of my own family hanging on the wall…

This little guy LOVED grandpa holding him on his shoulders!And then it was time for a little soccer!While we were rounding up the boys for a family shot, I was able to capture a tender moment between grandma and her 4-month old granddaughter.I used one of my new vintage color treatments on this one – I love their expressions in this one too!I love the boy’s expression on this one and mom’s hair flying certainly helped make the shot!
