San Francisco Bay Area Fremont Indian Wedding Photographer: Rajneet & Amrit’s Wedding: Part I

This was an absolutely incredible experience – working almost every day with this couple for most of the week leading up to their wedding! It was at times exhausting, especially getting up at 4:30 am on wedding day (after shooting the night before too!) and then shooting from 6am until after midnight…! Not to mention the post production too! But it was sooo worth it! The images are truly spectacular and I am so excited to be able to finally show Part I! So full of beautiful colors and details and of course, Rajneet and Amrit both looked amazing!

Congratulations Amrit & Rajneet! Enjoy your sneak peek of your wedding day!

undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedHer Mehndi and jewelry was just gorgeous! Amazing colors!undefinedMeanwhile, Amrit and his family were getting ready at his home. A lot goes into properly tying a turban!undefinedundefinedVery nice gentlemen!undefinedundefinedundefinedThen off to the Fremont Gurdwara for the baraat and ceremony. undefined undefinedundefinedAfter getting off his horse, Amrit is greeted by the bride’s sisters and cousins. Here, his sister is holding out her hand, indicating that getting these scissors to cut the ribbon and enter the Gurdwara will cost him! Time for Amrit to get out that wallet!undefinedundefinedAt last, the groom’s family approaches the Gurdwara!undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedThe couple shoot will be featured in the next post, but I wanted to show a few images from the tearful vidai or “farewell to the bride” as she says goodbye to her family and joins Amrit as his wife. I love this image of her father tearfully holding her. OThis is one of my favorite images of the day and so full of emotion! Amrit is there as well. They are connected by a long sash that they cannot remove until after they leave the Gurdwara.undefinedundefinedundefinedPart II: to come soon!
