After a pretty incredible engagement session in Santa Cruz, I was even more excited to photograph the wedding of this lovely pair. To be sure, their whole engagement session was pretty awesome, but I think it was when we climbed through the electrical wire to venture into the pasture with the horses that I realized they are definitely up for a little adventure, especially if it means creating some cool images. (Not to worry – the horse’s owner was with us :-). But what struck me the most is how easily I could tell that they were each marrying their best friend. I saw it in the way he took her hand to help her climb up a stack of boards for the next shot, or the way she easily followed Logan’s lead making some funny faces on the lifeguard tower, as if it had all been rehearsed many times before, even though it wasn’t. They fit together, like two waves perfectly in phase – their amplitudes in perfect combination creating something greater…
And so it’s no surprise at all to me that their wedding would be anything short of spectacular. Even some beautiful white fluffy clouds came to watch the day unfold! But don’t take my word for it. Read on and see for yourself! Congratulations Gina & Logan! We had such a wonderful time photographing your wedding and couldn’t be happier for both of you! Enjoy your first sneak peek at just a few of the many highlights from the preparations, ceremony, and sunset in the vineyards. More to come soon!
Yes! Clouds! Finally…! 🙂 …just an inside joke there – I always tell my clients that I wish we could see more of these mysterious white fluffy things up there in the sky! They do look fantastic in photographs, that’s for sure. What a beautiful day this was!
Gina looked simply amazing. I love the color of her lipstick!
They had a beautiful first look…
Stay tuned for part II coming soon!
