For this amazing HS Senior, we went up near Mount Rainier for some breathtaking scenery. And while The Mountain didn’t really make an appearance, we did get some glimpses of the peak through the clouds and even though it was still technically late summer, there were some vibrant Fall colors coming out amidst the Evergreen trees. I had photographed his older brother’s Senior portraits a few years earlier, so this time it was their youngest son’s turn. We had a great time exploring the area and he even brought a soccer ball to go along with his favorite soccer jersey! Oh yeah, we’ve definitely got quite a soccer player here! I’m glad we were able to incorporate his love for soccer and the outdoors!
His Mom was a huge help too and even did a great job as my lighting assistant when the need arose. And, I might ad, she managed the trails wearing flip-flops and no jacket (despite the temperature in the low-mid 40s). I’m always touched by the amount of love Mom’s have for their kids. And I think it comes through even more when it’s a High School Senior portrait session because their little one is now almost all grown up. And in addition to all of those wonderful memories and funny stories about when they were little that start to bring tears, I also see the look of pride in Mom’s eyes – pride in the wonderful young adult that their child has become. OK, this is making me teary-eyed too!
Thank you both for the wonderful session! It was an honor capturing these images for you to celebrate this amazing time in young man’s life and I know great things are ahead! Enjoy the sneak peek and congratulations class of 2024!!!
