I first met Kyle years ago for a family photography session and was honored when Kyle and his then fiancé Rachel contacted me to photograph their upcoming wedding. We had an amazing engagement shoot in San Francisco and I could hardly wait to photograph their wedding at Las Positas Vineyards in Livermore. Seriously, these two make such a wonderful couple and I absolutely loved their proposal story! I won’t spoil it by going into the details here, but I have to say that after getting to spend a little time with these two for their engagement shoot and wedding, the way Kyle ended up proposing to Rachel and the way she said yes… well, it was just perfect! Yes, these two were definitely meant to be together.

And so it was that on a very warm October 4th (actually, I think it was nearly 100F, but I am told that is normal much of the year in Livermore), Kyle and Rachel became husband and wife. Set against the beautiful vineyards at Las Positas, it was a truly spectacular day full of great moments. Rachel & Kyle both looked amazing and I’m so glad we had time to venture out into the vineyards in the evening for a couple shoot as well (more from that coming in my next post). This post features a few of the many highlights from their preparations, first look, and ceremony. Thank you both so much for the honor of shooting your wedding.
