I love my job! I mean, don’t get me wrong – there is a LOT of work that goes into each and every session – far more than just showing up with a nice camera and a lens or two and of course running a business full time to make a living requires a lot of sacrifices. But it is so worth it! Being able to show my clients their beautiful images after the session – images like you’re about to see in this post is so rewarding. And the sessions themselves? Sheer fun! I get to run, laugh, make funny faces and sounds (the sounds are something I’m sure the D family will remember…! :-). So when I’m putting in the late hours editing, emailing, doing my taxes (is there really anything more exciting that figuring out how much you owe???), or updating my website (yikes, that is looong overdue now…!) and then finding myself for a brief moment starting to envy those that can call it a day at 5pm, all I need to do is take a quick look at some photographs from a recent shoot and it all comes flooding back. It’s absolutely incredible to be able to capture the most amazing times in people’s lives! I love my job!!!
Which brings me to today’s post. I recently got to photograph this wonderful family of four at a beautiful outdoor location and we lucked out with perfect Spring-like weather to boot! But most importantly, we had an amazing time! They were up for anything! We even hiked up this super steep slope all huffing and puffing to get to this grove of trees (that I had checked out earlier and said was pretty awesome, although getting up there… not quite so awesome…). Mom chose perfect outfits for the whole family too. The images are just spectacular. So many beautiful images that I had a hard time just posting a few here.
Thank you D family for the wonderful session! I had a great time with all of you and can’t wait to show you more! Enjoy the sneak peek!
The bond between these two sisters – just amazing!
James – we are blown away! Thank you so much for an amazing experience at the photo shoot and these great photos we’ll treasure forever. We can’t wait to see the rest!
James you did it again! These are amazing photos 🙂
Thank you Nicole and Aimee for the comments! Glad you are enjoying them! 🙂
