Nestled among the Redwoods on the outskirts of Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park near Santa Cruz, CA, these two were married on a warm, late September evening amidst the towering trees. And after a they had walked through the park with many of their guests the day before, along with a lovely train ride through the trees, it was the perfect culmination to an absolutely glorious weekend.
They got ready at the beautiful Fern River Resort, just a short distance away from Roaring Camp Railroad and located in a beautiful valley along a river. Below the canopy of Redwoods, Fern River was full of lush greenery, including (of course), beautiful ferns! It truly was a forest paradise! After getting ready, everyone headed to the lovely ceremony location nestled in the trees, where one of the most beautifully emotional weddings I have ever had the honor of capturing took place. When these two read their vows to each other, there was hardly a dry eye anywhere. It was absolutely beautiful and I’m so happy for this wonderful couple!
And they both looked amazing! She looked radiant in her wedding gown and I loved his custom green suit! And those shoes were just awesome!!!
Congratulations you two! It was such a pleasure working with you through the planning process (planning a destination wedding on your own is no small feat!) and being their to capture your day. You make such a lovely couple and I wish you all the best in your new lives together as husband and wife! Congratulations and enjoy a peak at a few of the many highlights!
