I’m excited to continue on with part II of Anjani & Vishrut’s gorgeous Hindu wedding at Des Moines Beach Park near Seattle. We loved their beautiful ceremony under a lovely decorated mandap. And their grand exit showered with flower petals was the perfect finale!

As the tradition goes, following the last trip around the fire in which the bride leads the groom, whoever sits down first will have the upper hand in the marriage! I think its pretty clear who won this one!!! 😉 Actually, come to think of it, I’ve photographed so many Hindu weddings and I don’t think I’ve ever seen the groom win this one…!

The mother of the bride gives her daughter blessings and then whispers marital advice. Married relatives and friends will also come up and bless the bride, offering advice as well.
