You know, there is something to be said for not having to wear a jacket and thermals at the beach… and did I mention the warm water too?! South Carolina is quite different from what we are used to here in the San Francisco Bay Area. The warm water is nice, but factor in the constant 90+ degree air temperuature with 100% humidity and after a few days, there’s really nothing like home sweet home with the fog! I did take quite a few photographs back east and will be posting much more in the weeks to come – I just thought I would post a few from this short beach session to get things started. And what a fun time this was! I got a workout too – chasing after the little ones with my camera! Sand was blowing everywhere (not so great for cameras!), but after a few minutes of running around and rounding everyone up a few times for a quick family portrait (seconds is literally all you have sometimes!), I had lots of great stuff! Here are a few images from that beach session – what a wonderful family and the kids? … as cute as can be!Yep, she was clean for all of about 2 seconds!
I don’t think this one ever stopped moving for more than a nanosecond, so I just used my long lens and captured the action!
Sometimes it is the unplanned moments that end up steeling the show!
This little guy is certainly quite the explorer!
Fantastic!! You caught those two little ones in great candid shots. Takes a lot of patience I’m sure.
