On a recent trip to the San Francisco Bay Area, I met up with a wonderful family of three whom I’ve been photographing each year for a quite a number of years – ever since their daughter was a newborn! For this session, we visited a park in San Mateo that I’ve photographed a session or two before, but I’d never been during low-tide. The morning light was perfect this time around and with the low-tide, I was able to capture some beautiful images along the rocky, slippery, seaweed-covered shore! Mom & Dad decided this time the session would just be for their daughter, so we followed her around the park and before long, her imagination was having us quietly tiptoeing past hordes of goblins and leading us away from all of the fire-breathing dragons lurking around, all the while avoiding stepping in the lava that seemed to be everywhere! We all managed to emerge from the forest miraculously unscathed, thanks to this fierce little warrior’s ability to fend off any beasts that thought we might make a nice lunch. 😉 What an amazing little girl and a super fun adventure session!
Thank you all for another wonderful session! I had such a great time with you and can’t wait for you to see all of the images! For now, enjoy a sneak peek at just a few of the many highlights!
I love her shawl – what a great accessory!
