I met up with Kendra and Austin at Snoqualmie Pass on a recent snowy afternoon for their adventure engagement session. Kendra had wanted a snowy “winter wonderland” background, but the day we had originally scheduled, yet another warm Pacific storm dumped rain all over the Cascades, turning all that lovely snow into a slushy mess… Such has been the story this winter… But, literally a few days later, the snow was back and a winter wonderland awaited us! We hiked a ways in and had an AMAZING time playing in the snow! It was incredible! Kendra and Austin were so easy to work with and they didn’t let the cold bother them at all!
We hiked all the way around the snow-covered pond and I loved getting to know these two along the way. They make such a lovely couple! And at the end, of course we had to bust open some Champagne and have a snow-ball fight! Austin ended up with a lot of snow down his jacket on that one…! brrrr!!! 🙂
As engagement (and wedding season) gets started in 2020, I’m reminded of how much I enjoy engagement sessions here in the Pacific Northwest where there is so much natural beauty all around! I can get in my car and literally be at places in the mountains like this or be in Seattle in less than 30 minutes! How awesome is that!!!
Congratulations Kendra and Austin! Enjoy a sneak peek at a few of the many highlights!
