We still had to hike through melting snow to get there, but it was absolutely worth it for D and J’s beautiful adventure engagement session at Snoqualmie Pass! The weather has been pretty iffy for much of the Spring so far in western Washington, so we certainly lucked out with a fairly warm and thankfully dry day. We started things out at a new park that I’ve discovered and captured some images of these two and their adorable little fur ball Noodle, who was sporting a super cute bowtie! Then we headed back to the pass for a short hike through the snow, followed by having the place entirely to ourselves! Even for a weekday, I don’t think I’ve ever not seen a single other person there, so quite unusual for sure, but awesome for us!
Without the usual crowds to contend with, it wasn’t long before these two were dancing, spinning, and frolicking in the snow! The wind had died down too, leaving us with some absolutely beautiful reflections of the mountains. These two looked incredible and D wore some gorgeous dresses that really popped against our backdrops there and it was awesome how J was able to pick her up so effortlessly and spin her around! These two are originally from the Bay Area, having met at UC Berkeley, so they are having their wedding at the Westin St. Francis in San Francisco and I’m looking forward to flying down later this summer to capture it!
Congratulations you two! I had an incredible afternoon with you and I’m excited for your wedding coming up in a few months! Enjoy the sneak peek!
