These two came all the way from the Boston area to elope among the beautiful snow-covered peaks of the North Cascades. Fall had just officially started, but at this elevation, the vibrant colors were already at their peak, making it look like an alpine garden full of reds, oranges, and yellows punctuated by some of the most beautiful evergreen trees in the world. And we lucked out as an early season snow had just dusted the surrounding peaks a day or two earlier, creating a beautiful white accent for the jagged peaks against the fall foliage below.
We met up at one of the picturesque lakes in the valley for their beautiful intimate ceremony by the water and then headed upwards from there to some trails that would take us around the beautiful area. These two looked absolutely amazing and I loved her dramatic, long, and flowing dress! She even brought along a jacket that paired nicely with her dress so she could keep warm during the latter part as the temperature dropped. We had an awesome time exploring and even caught some seriously jaw-dropping light as the cloud layer created brief openings for sunlight to filter through. It was amazing!!! And with essentially no wind that day, the reflections were gorgeous too!
Thank you both for the opportunity to photograph your elopement adventure! It was so great to meet you and capture this day for you and I wish you both many years of happiness together as husband and wife! Enjoy a peek at a few of the many highlights!
