The fall colors were still out in abundance for this amazing senior who had come all the way from the Tri-Cities desert to have forest and mountains in her senior portraits. Washington has an extremely profound rainshadow effect east of the Cascade mountains where lush forests transition to dry desert as you descend to the east side of the mountains. Such amazing geographic diversity and natural beauty are some of the things that I love so much about Washington State. We went to one of my favorite locations where she, along with her mom and a friend joined us and we had a great time exploring the area. Rain in the days before had brought fresh snow to the surrounding peaks too! She had 3 outfit changes and a beautiful burgundy dress that looked incredible against the trees and out in the open by the lake and fall colors.
She’s planning to go into pre-med when she goes to college, majoring in biochemistry or chemistry. Her interest in becoming a doctor began when she was little and grew once she started watching Grey’s Anatomy. I’m excited for her and wish her all the best as she (soon) begins the next exciting chapter in life after high school!
Thank you all for the wonderful session! It was so great to meet you and spend the afternoon in a beautiful place capturing her senior portraits! Congratulations class of 2026!
