It seems like just a short while ago that I captured high school senior portraits for his older brother, but it has actually been a few years already. And now their youngest is a senior in high school. Time really flies and as any parent comes to know, they grow up so fast! I remember for his pre-session consultation, this amazing Mount Si senior knew exactly where he wanted to have his senior portraits, opting for an iconic Snoqualmie valley hiking bridge and a very PNW forest vibe. And surprisingly, I had actually never been to this place before (although it was on my list)! We had an awesome time exploring the trails there among the ferns and moss-covered trees and forest floor. Plus, we got to go out on the river rocks, enjoying one of the last few weeks of low river levels before the fall rains would start bringing torrents of water cascading down.
And he’s a photographer too, capturing sporting events for his high school and also car photography on weekends, which is pretty cool. He’s really a wonderful young man (like his older brother!) and is thinking of attending the University of Washington next fall.
Thank you so much for the awesome session! I really enjoyed spending the afternoon with you and your mom and visiting such a beautiful place! Congratulations to you and the class of 2026!
