Late summer is such an incredible time for family photographs here in the Seattle area. The leaves are already changing color while the weather is usually still dry and warm, and less likely to be hot. We had a perfect end of summer day for this lovely family of five at a beautiful park in Carnation. Their kids all play baseball, softball, and numerous other sports, keeping them so busy that they haven’t had a chance to do family photographs in a while. I’m glad we were able find a day that would work and capture these (and many more) beautiful images for them! I loved how close the kids were and they brought their dog along too! And I have to say, I was impressed with how well their two youngest were able to balance on the wooden fence railing! We had an incredible time exploring the park and heading down to the river was definitely a highlight because by then, the light was amazing! I always love golden hour and near sunset light!
