It was a warm, summer late afternoon at Mount Baker when I met up with M & J for their engagement session just a few weeks before their wedding. I loved how excited to get going they both were, right out of the car! We made a quick stop near the visitor center and then headed up to the upper parking lot to explore the trails there. They both looked amazing and we had a perfect day up there, despite the swarms of mosquitoes that came out near sunset.😂 The views were absolutely stunning in pretty much every direction, so we had no shortage of options up there. They are such a super nice couple and I loved how they could just lose themselves in each other. 🙂
Thank you both so much for the absolutely wonderful adventure! I had such a fun evening with both of you and can’t wait to photograph your wedding coming up soon! Congratulations and enjoy a peak at a few of the many highlights!
Hopefully we can protect this beautiful place for future generations (and protect many other public lands that are not already within the more protective boundaries of National Parks). It’s crazy to think that this was one of the places that was slated to be “sold off” to possible developers at fire sale prices as part of the BBB, but thankfully, that terrible idea was scrapped. Future generations should be able to enjoy (and get photographed in!) spectacular scenery like this! Thank you for helping to protect our public lands!
