After their beautiful wedding at the lovely Salish Lodge & Spa, I met up with these two newlyweds the following day near the base of Snoqualmie Falls. We hiked in, savoring the rainforest vibes and capturing some images in the forest along the way. We had a perfect late summer day, with only a few sprinkles at the very end. The water level was still very low, so we had plenty of land to hop around on down there and capture these two looking amazing in their wedding attire and so full of joy over having just gotten married, all with the gorgeous waterfall as our backdrop… It was absolutely incredible!

Having a session at the base of the falls the day after your wedding is really the best way to have a wedding at Salish Lodge. You get to celebrate and be with your guests on your wedding day, have a delicious meal, and view the falls from above. Then the next day, you get to go on your first adventure together as husband and wife and hike down to the base of the falls and celebrate with some breathtaking imagery. Win win!
