Situated at the top of beautiful Snoqualmie Falls, the Salish Lodge & Spa is an iconic Pacific Northwest destination for an escape into nature and fine dining. And it’s where this lovely couple who met at a Rocky Horror Picture Show in LA decided to have their wedding (actually, they were really just super excited to have the waterfall nearby)! He’s originally from Seattle and they eventually made their way back to the Pacific Northwest, now living in Portland. They are both fans of Halloween (her hair color and tattoos definitely give that away!), horror movies, and the outdoors, so a moody scene with a lodge perched on a bluff near a waterfall was the perfect backdrop!

For starters, I LOVED their hair! And as they were getting ready, the groom helped the bride into her shoes! That’s pretty cool! And he had a really I loved how casual they were about the day, just wanting to enjoy the day together and with their guests, many of whom had come all the way from Southern CA. The wind was blowing something fierce that day and just doing crazy things with hair, but they kept it all in stride as we wandered around Salish Lodge to capture photographs of the two of them before their lovely ceremony in the Hidden Terrace. They are just so great together – really such a sweet couple!

After the ceremony, they celebrated with their guests over a lovely, intimate dinner, with plenty of laughter and great conversation that lasted well into the night. Congratulations you two! It was an honor and pleasure to capture your beautiful wedding and I can’t wait to show you more from our subsequent adventure to the lower falls as well! You both rock!
