What an incredible adventure family photography session this was! We had to reschedule several times on account of illnesses and I think there was a weather rescheduling too somewhere, but we finally made it out to our originally planned location and it was spectacular! I’m so glad we got out there when we did, because shortly after, the snow really started falling up there and they don’t plow the road getting in, so… Yes, this was my last trip up to this beautiful place for the season because it is now buried under several feet of snow! But I’ll definitely be back next year and to keep the spirit of adventure alive, I’ve got my eye on some new locations for next year as well! 😉
This session featured a lovely family of four with their adorable twin girls. And it was pretty cold outside, so we bundled up, distributed some hand warmers (and toe warmers) and the five of us explored the area and had a great time in the snow! The girls were ready to climb on stumps, hug each other, dance and run around, play patty cake, and of course, snuggle with Mom and Dad, so in other words, we rocked it out there! Their Mom put together some really great outfits, including one with a very Christmas-themed look, complete with a wreath! And I have to say they were all quite the troopers (we probably walked a couple of miles in the snow and cold)!
Thank you all for the wonderful session! I had a great time capturing the love you share for each other in the beautiful (and frigid) outdoors! Enjoy a sneak peek at a few of the many highlights and have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
