Nestled among the forests and rolling hills of Bainbridge Island, Bloedel Reserve and it’s breathtaking Botanical Gardens are a harmonious blend of rugged Pacific Northwest nature and beautifully curated gardens. It is a place of reflection and tranquility, where garden and nature coexist seamlessly. And it is the place where this lovely couple, B & P, were married on a warm August day in front of their families and friends. It was a day that was delayed by 2 years because of the pandemic, but it was well worth the wait. From the beautiful grounds of Bloedel Reserve to the beautiful couple, the bride’s gorgeous dress, the wedding party, the guests, the heartfelt speeches and toasts, and the dance party on a cruise yacht back to Seattle at the end, it was epic in every way. And that is worth waiting for.
Following on their beautiful Hindu wedding ceremony and reception the day before at the groom’s family home, this day began with the bride getting ready in the Bloedel residence mansion and the groom at the Japanese tea house. Then we took a short walk over to the lovely reflection pool for their beautiful first look, with family and the wedding party watching from the other side of the pool. It was absolutely incredible! Her dress was sooo gorgeous and she had some assistance from one of her bridesmaids in carrying her train as she made the walk along the pool to meet her groom. And shortly after, the guests, who had been transported to the island by the tri-level yacht began to arrive at the tea house for cocktails before a violinist would lead them the 15 minute walk to the ceremony out on the mansion lawn, overlooking the Puget Sound. And of course there was the “nerf football in the middle of the reflection pond” incident – scroll down for more on that!
Congratulations B & P! We are so happy for you and so excited to share the beautiful images from your wedding day at Bloedel Reserve! Enjoy your first sneak peek at a few of the many highlights! More, including the beautiful ceremony and reception are coming very soon!
A special thank you to Jacky and her talented team at Event Success for putting such an amazing wedding together! And thank you to all of the other vendors who helped make this day possible! It was a pleasure working with all of you!
