I love adventure family photography sessions so much that I think I may need to start calling them one of my specialties. It’s all about getting into nature with your family in a gorgeous location at the best time of day and having an amazing experience together. It’s about exploring the incredible, jaw-dropping natural spaces we have here in the Pacific Northwest together as a family, away from it all, and letting those connections that you share together shine. I’ve learned over the years that some connections manifest right away, but others need a bit more time to emerge. For this family of four, we met up near Snoqualmie Pass and explored the area near one of the reservoir lakes. It was such an amazing adventure and their boys loved climbing the stumps, searching for ever taller ones to scale! Even their dog posed for a few shots! 😉 I loved the connection between their two boys. Teenage years can be an awkward time, but by having the session in a place like this, the boys were able to have fun together in a way that felt much more like a fun family outing together. We had a beautiful pinkish-orange sunset too!
